This is a whole day tour. Groups will depart from the Novotel Wilson hotel to board buses at a nearby parking lot. They will visit the Airbus assembly site and the Aeroscopia museum followed or preceded by a city walk around the old town. Lunch will be served between the aerospace and city visits at the Ferme de Pinot around noon. Your schedule will be indicated on your name badge.
The 1.5 hour “Let’s Visit Airbus” tour takes participants to the hall where the A350 is being assembled. Explanations during the visit will be provided by Airbus personnel.
Note that you will need to have your passport or French or European valid ID card with you for the Airbus visit, as there will be a security check at the entry gate of the facility.
The Aeroscopia museum visit lasts about one hour and a quarter and is not guided. But mediator guides will be present throughout the museum grounds, providing explanations on demand. So, we will split in groups of 20 to 25 participants for a better appreciation of the various planes and flying machines on display. See https://www.aeroscopia.fr/en.
Note that the number of participants for each “Let’s Visit Airbus” tour is limited at 47. Therefore, the total number of participants for this activity is 141. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come first serve basis.
For the three groups, the tour of the historical centre of Toulouse will last 1.5 hours. This will provide time enough to discover and admire the main monuments, but it will not allow for much lingering around.
